Shandiin Yazzie Woodward is a Diné (Navajo) game creator and
multidisciplinary
artist from Albuquerque, NM. She is the Co-Founder and Art Director at Subliminal, where she spearheads her studio’s projects and crafts colorful worlds and characters. She has 10+ years experience in her artistic career and specializes in stylized game art and graphic design.Shandiin was selected as a member of The Game Awards Future Class 2021. She has done design work for Meow Wolf, a multiverse art installation in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her games have been selected in Games for Change and imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival.
Shandiin also co-founded the Albuquerque Game Developers Guild, a game development community in New Mexico, and is an experienced game jam organizer. Shandiin works to promote diversity in games and create a space for indigenous expression.
